Things To Do At Snowcat Ridge
Snowcat Ridge is Florida’s newest theme park known for bringing the winter fun to Florida. It has three main attractions: Snowy Slopes, Arctic Igloo, and Crystal Ribbon.
As expected, the highlight is the Snowy Slopes. You can expect two hours of unlimited snow tubing at this attraction. There are a variety of tubes including 10-passenger tubes, double-passenger tubes, and single-rider tubes. It takes less than 15 minutes to go up the hill and down the slopes so you can expect around 10 rides per person during a two-hour time frame.
Another fun attraction is the Arctic Igloo. It is a dome filled with snow that is perfect for snowball fights, building a snowman, making snow angels, and whatever else your heart desires. This is the perfect attraction for your little ones. If you plan on spending a lot of time at this attraction, make sure you are wearing closed-toe shoes with socks and bring gloves and a jacket.
Crystal Ribbon is an outdoor ice-skating rink that is shaped like a ribbon. Cute right? This attraction is very beginner friendly and just like the Snow Slopes, it offers a light show for guests who decide to experience Snowcat Ridge at night. For the love of Instagram, this is a cute “photo op” spot so make sure you save room on your camera roll for this attraction.
Dining and Seating
When it comes to dining, there are 8 food trucks to choose from that serve Pizza, Tacos, Burgers, Desserts, and more. You can expect to spend about $20 – $25 per person if you plan on getting an entrée with a beverage and a dessert. You can also check the website for pre-paid dining plans that range from $15.95 – $21.95.
Snowcat Ridge does offer private igloo rentals at Eskimo Outpost that seat a total of 20 people. This is great for birthday parties, large family outings, or groups that require a large area to sit. You can find seating near every attraction, so this is not something that you have to pay extra money for. If you do not mind sharing space with other people, there are larger igloos and fire pits that are available for free.

These start at $30 and the price varies depending on the day that you attend. It is $5 cheaper to purchase your ticket online. - Ice Skate Rental
It costs $9.95 to rent ice skates all day. It is also $9.95 to rent ice skate training aids for 2-hours. You can purchase socks for $3 and rent a helmet for $5.95. However, neither of these is a necessity because you can bring socks from home and the chances of you needing a helmet are very slim. - Locker Rental
It costs $5 to rent a locker all day. These lockers come in handy while ice skating. However, if your party is large enough, you can always take turns watching the items that you would put in a locker. - Parking
Parking is $15 per vehicle.
My Review
Is Snowcat Ridge worth visiting? Yes! Is it expensive? Yes!
Most of the negative reviews about Snowcat Ridge mention that the park is too expensive for what it offers. I am going to give you some advice to make your experience more enjoyable so that you do not feel that way.
As mentioned before, make sure everyone in your group is dressed properly. You need closed-toe shoes, socks, and a jacket. I recommend wearing a jacket that you can easily take off with a short sleeve shirt. With so much movement, you are bound to get hot and start sweating.
You should buy your tickets and eat before you go to the park. This will save you anywhere between $25 – $30 per person. I also recommend bringing your drinks and snacks in case you do get hungry or thirsty.
Hit the slopes first. You only have two hours to snow tube, but you have all-day access to the park so make sure you snow tube first.
